My Favorite Places & Glimpses of Berlin

BRANDENBURGER TOR & PARISER PLATZ is ultimate symbols of Berlin.
One of my favorite sites/monument in Berlin is the HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL (Stiftung Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas) near the Brandenburger Tor & Pariser Platz.
SOVIET WAR MEMORIAL (right) built to honor the Soviet soldiers that fell in the battles against the German army in the Second World War.
NIKOLAIVIERTEL is an "Old Town" built by the DDR leaders in 1987 to recreate an altstadt feeling that could compete with the West.
DEUTSCHE GESCHICHTE MUSEUM (left) housed in the magnificent building designed by I.M. Pei and BERLIN CITY HALL (right)
Dusk is a lovely time of the day in Berlin.

the exquisit architecture and shopping experience at QUARTIER 206
MUSEUM BLINDEWERKSTATT OTTO WEIDT next to the Hackesche Höfe Theatre is dedicated to telling this story of Otto Weidt, a man who safe housed blind and deaf Jews during the Third Reich.
