Life's Simple Pleasures ... Glorious Sunsets

No matter where I am in the world, my favorite time of the day is the twilight. Whether it's over the Seine, the Pacific Ocean or over the city from the deck of our apartment, there’s no better way to end the day than seeing the sun set and watching the sky turn bright and lovely shades of red, orange and very rarely, purple.

The colors spreads slowly across the sky like watercolor over a large canvas, and as the golden sun slowly sinks behind the landscape sending slithers of rose colored shafts of light, the dimming sun is tucked away behind the mountains, the clouds or the Eiffel Tower, revealing
the glimmers of city lights or star lights ... it is without a doubt the most serene and tranquil moment of the day.
